Echo ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Slack-to-podcast service.
Data We Collect
- Slack Workspace Data: When you connect Echo to your Slack workspace, we access channel messages you explicitly select for summarization.
- User Preferences: We store your scheduling preferences, selected channels, and delivery settings.
- OAuth Tokens: We securely store encrypted Slack OAuth tokens to access your workspace on your behalf.
How We Use Your Data
- Generate audio briefings from your selected Slack channels
- Deliver briefings to your Slack DM or specified channels
- Schedule automated briefings based on your preferences
Data Storage & Security
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
- Audio briefings are automatically deleted after 7 days
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- Data is processed using OpenAI's API for summarization and text-to-speech
Your Rights
- You can disconnect Echo from your Slack workspace at any time
- You can request deletion of your data by contacting us
